We are seeking a highly capable Project Engineer / Staff Engineer with a Civil (structural focus) or Mechanical Engineering background to join our team. This role is ideal for an Engineer with 5–7+ years of experience in a multi-discipline consulting environment who thrives in managing multiple projects simultaneously and is looking to transition to a role in the architectural cladding products industry.
The right candidate will bring strong technical fundamentals, practical construction awareness, and the ability to keep numerous projects moving forward efficiently. While this position offers a more stable and focused environment compared to traditional consulting, we are specifically looking for someone accustomed to juggling competing deadlines and maintaining momentum across several active projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be a self-starter, able to manage multiple engineering projects concurrently from concept through execution with minimal management
- Coordinate cross-functionally with construction services, sales, marketing, operations, manufacturing, and customers
- Provide technical support to internal teams as well as external designers and architects regarding technical details and applications of products
- Develop strong knowledge of applicable building code and compliance testing requirements related to products and associated applications
- Interpret structural, constructability, and building code requirements and translate them into practical design solutions
- Develop and review drawings and details using AutoCAD
- Review plans, specifications, and submittals
- Assist in problem-solving related to construction, fabrication, and installation of products
- Maintain schedules and ensure timely project progression
- Support continuous improvement in design standards and engineering processes
- The ability to work on teams to implement testing protocols, including some labor if necessary to create testing rigs and assemblies
- The ability to work on multi-discipline, new product development teams in a supportive role
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis) or Mechanical Engineering
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) – Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
- 5–7+ years of engineering experience
- Previous experience in engineering consulting environment
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid understanding of construction practices and field conditions
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Autodesk Fusion, Solidworks, and/or structural analysis FEM/FEA software a plus, but not required
Note: Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is not required for this role.

Overview
Laminators is seeking a high-impact Regional Sales Manager to lead growth in our Architectural/OEM Division in New England. This position is a front-line, field-driven role focused on expanding architectural specifications, developing distributor/fabricator/installer partnerships, and winning profitable architectural, sign, and OEM opportunities. You’ll serve as the face of Laminators in the region – combining strategic account planning with disciplined execution and outstanding relationship management.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver strong year-over-year revenue growth across all product groups.
- Expand architectural specifications by building influence with targeted firms and design decision-makers.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with distributors, fabricators, installers, and independent reps.
- Own regional field activity: plan calls, maintain CRM accuracy, and proactively manage a healthy pipeline.
- Conduct AIA CEUs, system trainings, lunch-and-learns, and jobsite visits to drive adoption and loyalty.
- Collaborate closely with Inside Sales, Technical Services, and Marketing to convert opportunities and support customers.
