Why I Love What I Do at Laminators
What gets me up and moving every morning is the excitement of knowing that Laminators—now over 60 years strong—still has so much potential to grow. I’m passionate about helping unlock those opportunities, not just for the company, but for every employee, owner, and business partner we work with. There’s something incredibly rewarding about being part of a team where everyone’s success is connected.
Career Journey & Highlights
I’ve always believed in working hard and working smart. My journey started early – delivering newspapers, slicing deli meat in a butcher shop, and lifeguarding at a Philadelphia public pool. Along the way, I earned a BS in Accounting and an AS in Business Administration, all while serving 8 years in the U.S. Army Reserve. That experience shaped how I think: not just about numbers on a page, but about how every piece of the puzzle contributes to the bigger picture.
Throughout my career, I’ve been focused on driving financial clarity, helping teams make informed decisions, and looking beyond the spreadsheets to understand what really moves a business forward.
Skills & Curiosity
I’m a firm believer in continuous improvement. Whether it’s diving into new features like Python in Excel, brushing up on my Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) studies, or just asking better questions, I’m always looking for ways to grow. I enjoy digging into problems, finding smarter solutions, and helping others do the same.
Being curious has taken me far – from learning new tech tools to exploring different parts of the world. I find that seeing how other people live and work helps me bring fresh ideas back to the table.
Beyond the Numbers
Outside of the office, I enjoy exploring new places and cultures—it’s one of the ways I recharge and get inspired. Whether it’s a trip abroad or a weekend road trip, I’m always looking for new experiences that broaden my perspective. That same curiosity and openness are what I try to bring into my work every day: stay humble, keep learning, and never stop asking “what’s next?”
