Reports to: Inside Sales Manager

Classification: Non-exempt (hourly/office)

This role provides customer service and technical support to architects, contractors, distributors, installers, and Regional Managers (RMs). Typical questions are focused on order status, product information, account status, pricing, product, systems or service. This is a great opportunity for self-starter who is motivated, a collaborative team player, and operates well with minimal supervision.

You will perform a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Communicate product information, pricing, availability, and lead-time quotations of standard items to established distributors. This is done utilizing independent judgment through the knowledge of our manufacturing and scheduling process.
  • Enter orders in ERP system, track orders throughout production process, and expedite as required.
  • Provide answers to technical questions from architects, contractors, distributors, installers, and Regional Managers.
  • Provide sales / marketing support as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting the Regional Sales Managers by fielding calls from potential customers, architects, contractors, distributors, and installers.
  • Optimize information from customers regarding size and quantity of panels in the Smart 2D database.
  • Create job specific warranties for customers.
  • Assemble submittal packages for distribution to customers and architects.
  • Collaborate with outside raw material vendors and our internal purchasing department on pricing, inventory, and samples to streamline the quoting and delivery processes.
  • Track, process, mediate, and close customer complaints within company standard of 48 hours, whenever possible.

The role requires the ability to be a productive member of a collaborative team while ensuring strict adherence to all design and construction requirements. The candidate must be able to manage tasks in a manner that will safeguard the company’s risk or exposure.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of customer service and 2-5 years of product manufacturing experience preferred.
  • High School diploma required, with preference given to candidates with a Bachelors’ degree.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required with the ability to effectively interface with peers and management of other functional areas including sales, manufacturing, engineering, materials, finance, HR and IT

Reports To: Director of Marketing

We are seeking a talented Marketing Specialist with a strong design background and a passion for visual storytelling. With guidance from the established marketing strategy and in partnership with the Director of Marketing this role focuses on producing engaging content across various digital and print platforms to support our marketing communications. The ideal candidate will combine a design-driven mindset with a knack for marketing and an enthusiasm for architecture, construction and materials. Qualified applicants should possess strong graphic design skills, marketing and photography experience, and an ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Assists in planning, creating and implementation marketing communications activations. Works with others to develop and deploy website updates, email marketing, digital and print advertising, collateral, trade show and event materials, internal communications, packaging and PR/online content.

Objectives of the Role:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of our products, standards and differentiators so that strategies can be developed for more effective communication and brand awareness.
  • Create visually engaging content for email, social media, print and our website.
  • Document procedures, processes and workflows, and recommend changes for greater efficiency.
  • Assist with all internal and external marketing campaigns, producing content for projects and initiatives to enhance lead generation.
  • Analyze past and current marketing activities with a critical eye and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in planning and executing campaigns by providing creative ideas to enhance audience engagement and support with photography, graphic design, and scheduling.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of the Marketing Director, assist in the execution of marketing plans to reach audiences through targeted channels. Create and implement messaging and internal/external communications that effectively promote the company, its products and services.
  • Perform research, analyses, and test with a variety of tools to gain insights and shape marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize automation and lead nurturing process through email, content, events and social channels
  • Create reports on critical metrics for lead generation, content creation, website traffic and other KPIs.
  • Assist the Marketing Director in the development and execution of campaigns, including graphic design, content creation, new product launches, social media, upselling, cross-selling and sales enablement.
  • As necessary, coordinate projects with outside vendors, including marketing agencies, graphic designers, printers, video producers and editors, photographers, etc.
  • Assist in the creation of advertising (print and online) and PR schedules, as well as the creation of advertisements, press releases, product profiles, case studies, sales tools and article submissions.
  • Execute all aspects of trade shows including the development of booth graphics, ordering show services, coordinating shipments/logistics, and pre-show and post-show communications/activities.
  • Responsible for maintenance of the company website and social media sites, ensuring all information is accurate and current. For content that cannot be developed in-house, coordinate with external resources.
  • Act as facilitator for company AIA CEU webinars and presentations, including scheduling, assisting the sales team with presentations/tools, and administration/reporting of CEU credits and certificates.
  • Support company initiatives and serve on related teams as necessary.
  • Regular attendance and the ability to follow all safety policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive marketing experience and a keen interest in storytelling through visual media.
  • Practical experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), CRM, Canva, Microsoft Office, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok), WordPress is required
  • Working knowledge of HTML, web development tools, SEM/SEO, social media management tools, and analytics preferred
  • Strong graphic design skills and a portfolio demonstrating creativity and versatility across digital and print media.
  • Knowledge and experience in photography for marketing and event purposes.
  • Experience with product launches and/or integrated campaigns.
  • Attention to detail and deadlines, strong oral and written communication skills (internal and external), and having a customer focus is a must.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively interact with peers and management of other functional areas.
  • A passion for architecture, construction and materials is a plus!
