Why I Love What I Do at Laminators
For the past 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of leading the HR function at Laminators Inc.—and it’s been a journey full of growth, and connection. What sets this place apart is its heart. We’re a small, family-owned and operated business where everyone knows each other by name, and everyone truly matters. That sense of community isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something we live every day.
Here, hard work is recognized, people are valued, and there’s a genuine commitment to doing right by each other. That’s what keeps me passionate about what I do: being part of a company that treats its people like family.
Career Journey & Highlights
Before joining Laminators, I worked in the fast-paced world of corporate America, where I built a solid foundation in human resources. Over the years, I’ve brought that experience into a more close-knit setting—one where I can make a direct impact and be part of something truly special.
I’ve had the opportunity to help shape the culture here, support our team through growth and change, and create an environment where people feel supported and seen. My educational background includes studies at both Villanova and Strayer universities, which helped lay the groundwork for a career focused on people, processes, and purpose.
Skills & Strengths
I’m passionate about helping people succeed and building a workplace where they feel respected, empowered, and heard. Whether it’s recruiting and onboarding, guiding professional development, or navigating life’s ups and downs with our team, I strive to lead with empathy, fairness, and a strong sense of integrity.
My strengths lie in communication, problem-solving, and building trust across all levels of the company. I believe HR should be approachable and human—and that’s exactly how I aim to show up each day.
Outside the Office
I’m a local through and through—I grew up in this community and still love everything about it. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family and friends down at the beach, relaxing in our RV and soaking up the simple joys of life.
I’m a proud mom of two wonderful children and “Nona” to two beautiful grandchildren. And I can’t forget my sidekick, Dozer—my Old English Bulldog who keeps life fun and full of love. Whether it’s sharing a laugh with loved ones or catching a sunset by the shore, I try to carry the same values into my personal life that I bring to work: connection, gratitude, and a deep appreciation for the people around me.
